In November 2025, our Deaf and Hard-of-hearing athletes will fly to Tokyo to compete in the Summer Deaflympics. At this one-of-a-kind world-class event, sports performance and Deaf culture will truly take centre stage. The Deaflympics will bring together more than 80 national delegations and feature approximately 4,000 athletes competing in 22 disciplines. The Canadian delegation consists of 48 athletes competing in ten sports: badminton, men's basketball, golf, indoor volleyball, beach volleyball, bowling, track and field (both the marathon and 5,000 metres events), table tennis, and tennis. Your support enables our athletes to represent Canada at the 2025 Deaflympics. The per-athlete budget is as follows:

  • How are donations used?

    100% of the donations we received are used to finance athlete participation, including transportation, accommodations, outfits, and registration fees.
  • Do you issue a tax receipt?

    Yes. A tax receipt is automatically issued and sent by e-mail for all donations of $20 or more.
  • May I make a donation on behalf of a company or foundation?

    Absolutely. Indicate your organization’s name on the donation form. For an official partnership, please refer to our sponsorship plan.
  • Have you set a minimum donation amount?

    The amount is up to you. Every donation makes a real difference.
  • May I donate by cheque or bank transfer (Interac)?
